Community Workshop Pilot Project

The Community Workshop Pilot Project will be built around the concept of Community-Based Social Marketing (CBSM), understanding that behavior change is most effective when it is carried out at the community level, and directly involves participants. The pilot project will: select target behaviours associated with unsustainable consumption of clothing to be encouraged and/or discouraged; identify key barriers and benefits to these behaviors; develop a strategy to either encourage or discourage selected behaviors based on identified benefits and/or barriers; and test the strategy through focus groups and a small-scale pilot project.
